As a finalist for Mr Gay Japan 2023, I focus on three issues:

1. lack of awareness of mental health resources for the LGBTQ+ community
2. lack of diverse role models within the LGBTQ+ community
3. lack of holistic support for the LGBTQ+ youth

Also, to summarize what I would like to do if I get selected as Mr Gay Japan 2023 – I want to support the mental health of LGBTQ+ youth by being a role model in business and a mental health advocate. 

As one initiative, I launched and executed a project to design and distribute posters about mental health resources for LGBTQ+ youth. I coordinated with Pride House Tokyo, にじーず, and TELL Japan to create posters. I also interviewed staff members and counselors from TELL Japan to publish a blog post. Please see HERE

(This project is entirely self-funded – although the project garnered verbal support from multiple organizations, such as Mr Gay Japan and Pride House Tokyo, I did not receive any financial support from any organizations)
